파이시스 그리스어로 “자연”을 의미하며 최대한 자연 친화적인 환경을 유지하며 사업을 하기 위한 의미로 회사명을 정했으며 로고의 심볼은 냉장, 냉동을 전문으로 하는 기업이기에 빙산을 형상화한 형태이며 보이는 것보다 보이지 않은 것이 더 많은 것을 가지고 있다는 뜻을 포함하고 있습니다.
Physis means "nature" in Greek, and we chose this name to reflect our commitment to conducting business in an environmentally friendly manner. The symbol in our logo is shaped like an iceberg, representing our specialization in refrigeration and freezing. It signifies that there is more beneath the surface than what is visible, implying that we possess much more than meets the eye.

Timeline

1.
1997: Makino Yasuhisa in Japan developed the flash freezing method using 23% brine.
2.
Early 2000s: Makino's technology began to be commercially applied. This technique was especially used in the food industry to help maintain the freshness and quality of food.

2010s: Flash freezing technology spread globally. Many food companies adopted this technology to produce fresh and high-quality frozen foods.

2015: MARS Company, a Japanese firm specializing in advanced refrigeration and freezing technologies, became known for its HybridICE technology. This method uses high salinity saltwater for rapid freezing at -21.3°C, significantly maintaining the quality and freshness of seafood. It is 20 times faster than conventional freezing technologies and preserves the original form of each cell in the fish.

2022 : DIPS (Dynamic Ice Production System) was introduced, producing ice slurries at -21°C using 23.5% salinity saltwater. This allows for super-fast freezing by utilizing latent heat, ensuring high-quality frozen food processing and long-term storage.

Present: Flash freezing technology is utilized in various industries, with continuous research and development. The 23% brine method remains a recognized and important technology. All products of Japan's Mars Company are sold in Korea by Physis in collaboration with Mars Korea
